Course description
This practical two-day training course provides hands-on experience and theoretical background knowledge for operation and optimum performance of the Wave Bioreactor. A full setup, calibration of all attached probes, sterile sampling and seeding as well as optimization and scaling-up are covered in various laboratory practical exercises and theoretical sessions.
You will also practice standard techniques like sterile tube sealing and welding. Various applications of the Wave Bioreactor and associated devices for cell culture, buffer dilution, cell therapy and the combination with microcarriers are presented and discussed during the individual lectures.
After the course, you will be able to:
| Develop cell culture applications based on a thorough understanding of Wave products and technologies |
| Set up and operate a Wave bioreactor and ancillary equipment |
| Perform the probe calibration, sterile sampling, sealing, welding and seeding procedures |
