Ettan LC systems are developed from the ÄKTAdesign™ chromatography platform and contain inert, biocompatible flow paths with minimized dead volumes to ensure high sample recovery, top resolution and high sensitivity.
The system is equipped with high-performance P-905 pumps (optimized for low flow rates) together with a “flow between run” functionality ensuring maximum reproducibility. This makes the system well-suited for pre-fractionation and functional characterization. Monitor pH/C-900 provides on-line gradient monitoring, as well as useful information for troubleshooting. Monitor UV-900 provides optimal UV-Vis detection in the range 190-700 nm. Columns are connected directly into the flow cell of Monitor UV-900, maximizing sensitivity and resolution by eliminating dead volumes.
UNICORN™ software for control and evaluation is supplied with the system. Options for sample fractionation and autosampling include Frac-950, Autosampler A-900, and Autosampler A-905. The system can also be integrated with electrospray mass spectrometers.
