General course information
Fast Trak™ Education is another means by which GE Healthcare shares its unique insights and experience of downstream purification processes.
The courses are designed to educate researchers, development and production staff, and management in downstream processing.
There are hands-on training courses in column packing, basic chromatography, and optimization and scale up for both pilot and production scales. Courses on validation issues and chromatography theory are also taught. The courses are run at our regional Fast Trak centers or customized at your premises.
Cancellation Policy
In case you need to cancel your registration, the following charges will apply:
| 4 weeks prior to course: | 50 % of course fee |
| 2 weeks prior to course: | 80 % of course fee |
| 1 week or less prior to course: | 100 % of course fee |
You may of course send a colleague in your place.
Course certificate
Upon completion of the course, each participant receives a Course Certificate in which course contents and course dates are stated.
Course evaluation
At the end of each course, you will be asked to fill in a Course Evaluation Form. We value your opinion of the course, the speakers, the material and presentations. We use this feedback to continuously improve the courses and their contents. It is for this reason that we value your opinion. We are not interested in who filled in a specific form and you can choose to be anonymous.
Discounting rules
An early registration discount is offered for registrations received 30 days before the course commences. For courses in Munich, Germany a €150 or equivalent discount is offered. For courses in Piscataway, New Jersey, USA a $200 discount is offered.
Hotel costs
The hotel costs are not included in the course price.
Language
Standard courses are held in English. Custom courses can be presented in other languages. Please contact the Fast Trak Course Center for more information.
Lunches
All lunches during course days are included in the course prices.
Material in binders
Each course participant will, before the respective course, receive the lectures and other relevant material in a binder.
Notes
Note paper and pens will be provided to each course participant at the start of each course.
Presentations
Lecture slides are generated by computer and projected on to a screen.
Requirements for safety level S1 (L1) laboratories:
Please be aware, that according to German law, every course participant who enters our laboratories for the practical sessions must comply with certain safety requirements. Obligatory protective clothing and safety devices will be provided.
Trainers
We try to use internal speakers when possible in our courses. We use speakers with documented presentation skills and extensive experience in the specific subject. |
